Full Job Description:
Are you looking for a way to use your professional experience and education in child services to make a difference in the lives of children? The Women's Center of East Texas (WCET) is seeking a Youth Advocate to coordinate our Youth Advocacy Program in our six-county service area, supporting youth activities for children experiencing family violence and homelessness.

What will you be doing?
Intake of children into the shelter
Coordinate and facilitate children activities
Organize and facilitate parenting education classes
Assist parents with assessing and providing children needs and services
Liaise with CPS

What do you need to provide?
2 years' professional child services experience (e.g. CPS, ECI, foster care case manager, school teacher, etc)
Bachelor's Degree preferred or combination of work experience and education
Bilingual required (proficient in English and Spanish)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work a flexible work schedule (on-call rotation and some weekends/nights required)

Job Type:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
